AutoRacingTechnik’s innovative design allows high strength sheet aluminium alloy to be used instead of the more common sand casted designs. Reduced steering wheel diameter gives the driver better steering response, however, this sometimes limits driver's view of the instruments/gauges/cluster. This kit provides 13mm more lift from concentric centre to overcome driver's line of sight to his instruments/gauges/cluster. Most owners don't even realise that their factory sport steering wheel is also eccentric (off centre) and is made that way by the car manufacturer for this exact reason (eg. BMW E30 M3 MTech2 370mm dia, Porsche Carrera2/4 964 sport steering wheel option, etc).
